Small Tortoiseshell

On the buddliea in the garden . Butterflies have been quite scarce in our garden this year although moths are plentiful. Now the buddliea is out that’s changing …… this was one of three I saw today …. A peacock and a small white being the others.They always lift my spirits ( not that they were down though !) .
