Hidcote

We met John and Jennie at the National Trust property,  Hidcote Manor Gardens.  We arrived just before twelve and the place was packed, well the car park was, we ended up in the overflow to the overflow of the already sizable car park.  There were about four spaces left.  Luckily J&J managed to grab a space as someone was leaving.  Anyway we met up and found an empty table in the picnic area where we had our lunch and a nice chat.

After lunch we ventured into the gardens, again it was quite busy, the queue for coffee at the cafe was too long, luckily a one-way system has been introduced round the various garden 'rooms' and all was manageable.

There were some fine displays of flowers.

As the coffee queue was still long as we were leaving we decided to regroup at our house for a cup of Monsoon Estates' best.
