Recovery Ice-cream

Today's cycle ride didn't quite go as planned, starting off with me forgetting a camera!
Ariadne was not at all keen on riding a tag-a-long and Rachel's hire bike was so uncomfortable she was not ever going to enjoy the day. It was also very breezy which meant any non active time was really quite cold.

We did manage to meet up with Stuart for lunch though, Rachel took Ariadne to Buxton for some retail therapy and then Tim (our SiL), James, Gill and I set off on a route Gill and Tim had found linking two of the rail trails. James did 22km all told, only ~1km on tarmac and 3 or 4km on rough farm tracks. He really did deserve his recovery ice cream once we were back at the hire place.

My blip is a mobile phone shot.

Dusty Hill of ZZ Top has died, no doubt he turned up at the gates beard combed and properly dressed. Hope St Peter appreciates a little Texas Boogie
