What's my back story?

Cat Protection rung up this morning to check how we were getting on.

And I learnt a bit more about his past. (Still unnamed  though Teddy seems to be the most popular).

It appears he was first noticed wandering the streets around Cumbernauld at the start of lockdown. Gets into fights came into
Cat Rescue with a bunch of injuries.

One person advertised him on Facebook  and he was semi adopted there though he would often disappear for days. One member of the household was allergic to cats.

I was told it’s unusual to have a homeless cat handed in. Currently they have a waiting list of 86 cats wanting to come into the Cattery for a variety of reasons, and they currently have  55 cats waiting to be rehomed. Also, they are very short of volunteers.

I reckon this is one of the untold stories of the effect of Covid on cats and probably dogs too.
