Mugdock

Met up with friends at Glasgow Queen Street station on Thursday morning with plans to do one thing, which quite soon became plans to do something else. Either way, our joint destination was Milngavie and first stop when we got there was the coffee shop.

We walked from there up to, then around, Mugdock Country Park, passing the castle along the way. And then another castle - woo, two for the price of one - before stopping for lunch and our meander back to the train station. Arriving back at Queen Street we all acknowledged that it had been a fine day out and pledged to do it again some time soon.
Even the weather played ball.
