Fresh Mint Moth

A while ago MrQ bought some mint and planted it in one of our disused glasshouses. Unfortunately it's not lovely spearmint but a strain that has a distinct whiff of tom cats. :( However I'm grateful as it seems to attract insects which I can photograph in the dry when it's raining outside, as it has been today.

I've captured a mint moth once before at Panshanger Park and had forgotten how tiny and dainty they are. These common moths fly during the day and are also known as the small purple and gold.
