Grasshopper Ginger

Common field grasshoppers are very variable in colour. I don't think I've photographed a ginger one before. I've added a light-coloured one to extras which blends in nicely with the grass seedheads. These grasshoppers do hop but they are also able to fly quite well with their long wings.
