7.40pm. Late blip!

The grandchildren are all now in bed.
Stories have been read.
They went back to the Park this morning with their mum and dad, before lunch.
I had a lovely lie-in for once and was up later today.
This afternoon, being showery, was spent indoors. 6 of us played Qwirkle whilst Bonnie, 2 years old, spent time having an imaginary tea party using the toy tea set with her dad.
I love playing Qwirkle!
They return home tomorrow after lunch.
After yesterday’s visit to look round their new house they came back high as kites, extremely excited. Which was good.
Stephen had printed off the floor plans which had been on the Estate Agent’s website and gave one to each of the children so they could mark the bedrooms they would choose.
As in all house moves it takes time to process, so it’s now a waiting period
They hope to move before the Autumn halfterm.
Outside it is a cool calm evening just now.
I went to do some dead-heading of the roses. The shrub roses had taken a battering earlier in the week. But they are still lovely.
There is already a feel of autumn in the air.
The rowan tree has very orange berries, which will turn imperceptibly red over the coming weeks.
Time to watch my current favourite on Netflix’s, “Call My Agent”. It’s French with English subtitles.
