Pirates Ahoy!

Rapid lateral flow tests this morning - just to be sure - before MrM and I set off for Coldstream for lunch with Annie and Ken. Exciting! The first time we'd seen them in 15 months! And after a delicious feast of a lunch, a walk by the Tweed.

Not far from their house, a group of friends working on their amazing lockdown project - building a pirate ship in their garden. It's on the Tweed floodplain, so in times of flood the pirate ship may double as an ark, with the chickens on the top deck out of harm's way. A figurehead is yet to be decided upon, but is likely to be something unusual! The garden will be planted with a sea of mostly blue and white wildflowers. Brilliant!

A tour round Annie's Annie's amazing garden before leaving.
