The wrens are in!

The NY AOG was quiet this AM  so this reporter headed to Pennsylvania to check out some of their events this afternoon. However the Pennsylvania AOG events  were a literal washout due to severe thunderstorms and hail!  Fortunately none of the athletes appeared to have been injured. Several were seen ducking into bushes moments before the hail started to come down!
So we thought we would give you a glimpse of one of the competitors in last evenings Insect Grab and Feed. There is no question that Team Wren was up for it last night. While Team Catbird was distracted by the blackberries , the wrens were on it, grabbing insect after insect  and brought it back to the nest to win the Gold! Team Redstart was a distant Silver having made only one complete run. The robins were surprisingly out of it , sitting on their nest  .They seemed to be waiting for the insects to come to them!
