Alresford

A trip out for coffee this morning and then a short walk along the river behind Alresford. Then back home for more lounging. In spite of not really doing much this weekend, I’ve been really tired - I guess I’m just not used to having visitors in the house, even if it is family. We had been hoping to have a barbecue this weekend but the weather just hasn’t been reliable enough so we cooked all the meat and fish in the oven instead but it wasn’t the greatest of successes. Barbecues are stressful enough anyway, without the added stress of the wooden skewers turning to charcoal and clouds of smoke under the grill - that was a daft thing to do!
