Port Appin loop

Today we cycled north under sunny skies from Benderloch along the Caledonia Way almost as far as the Old Inn (where we watched the spectacular sunset last night). We took the Port Appin loop diversion to stop for lunch at an old haunt of ours: the Pierhouse. We used to stay there with my parents in the 1990s. On one occasion Koo Stark dropped in by seaplane for a meal!

After our ride out, we sat in the garden with the family and then worked our way through a very tasty barbecued vegetarian feast.

My blip is a view from my bike at the start of the Port Appin loop.

Exercise today: 30 mile bike ride.
