I treated myself to new binoculars today, purchased from the RSPB Reserve at Old Moor. A very helpful (and patient) member of staff helped me try out a number of pairs, answered my questions, so I could make my final choice. My existing pair are over 40 years old and I not compatible for using whilst wearing my glasses, which meant that I rarely carried them with me and then struggled to juggle binoculars and glasses. The new binoculars are designed for glasses wearers so hopefully will last me for my remaining years (certainly not another 40!)
A little gardening this afternoon followed by some saxophone practice.
