Black Hill Ridge

A panorama for a change taken with my iPhone.

I went on a terrific geocaching walk with Paul today as we returned to the Alien series on the edge of the Peak District. We parked at Kettleshulme and did a 8.9 mile walk in the area between Kettleshulme, Disley and Furness Vale. After last week's heavy rain we were very fortunate with the weather although it got a bit warm later on.

The photo was taken on Black Hill Ridge with Lyme Park to the left and Stockport and Manchester in the middle with the airport also in shot. Its a great viewpoint and we could even make out Helsby Hill and Fiddlers Ferry very faintly in the distance although they aren't really visible in the photo..
