We need to do a rain dance!

This is the state of the burn (stream) which provides our water supply and that of three other households. We have never seen it this low and it is fortunate that N & J made the recent improvements to the small dam further upstream. This is holding back enough water to quench our thirst…….for the moment. Who would ever think that this is north west Scotland? We are keeping our fingers crossed that the rain forecast over the next six days materialises and is heavy enough to make a difference.
