Uplifting ..

Spent the morning tidying my veg patch including lifting up my beetroot. There aren't very many and those that there are are rather small - however there are more than last year so progress of sorts. I think they weren't getting enough light and weren't thinned enough - lessons for next year. 

The afternoon was spent volunteering in the Station Book Shop - my first shift on my own ! It was quiet to start with but there was a steady stream of customers towards the end.
