Chestnut Avenue

What a grey day!

Cars were coming into town with inches of snow on their roofs but here it remained cold, dull, windy and sleety.

I went back to the park today and managed 2 images of a ringed greylag goose before the camera informed me 'Change Battery Pack'.
A quick return home for the fully recharged one that had been left on the table and, 15 minutes later, I was back beside the boating lake.

I needed warming up once I returned home - and so did this image.

Why the title? . . . The trees are horse chestnuts and planted in a double row between two rugby pitches.
