The Ship Inn @ Elie

Pat’s birthday and our 37th Wedding Anniversary.

The weather remains very sunny and Elie and the other seaside villages are packed with tourists, enjoying themselves.

The narrow streets down to the harbour and beach are traffic jammed with a very full selection of large 4x4 cars. They are going nowhere fast.

Pat and I have booked to have lunch at the Ship Inn. Everything goes very well, and all of the COVID-19 precautions are exemplary.

The food is very tasty.

After lunch we stop at St Monans to buy a selection of seafood for lunch tomorrow at home.

Where did we park? At the top of the village in an empty road and walked 200 metres along a close.

Final surprise of the day? Mrs Dog had asked us to keep Friday free. When we arrived home, Pat received a text from Mrs Dog inviting us to lunch at……. The Ship Inn @ Elie!

Twice in one week.

We are looking forward to it.
