Boiling Eggs

Boiling Eggs is a matter of precise measurement and careful handling.

As breakfast chef, I boil eggs, perhaps once a week. Pat likes really runny. The red egg timer is a reliable instrument and never fails.

Pat likes "toasted soldiers" to dip in the yoke. Today Pat learned from Vladimira (our Czech daughter) that the Czech refers to these toasted fingers as "angels" which is a great idea.

From now on it is boiled eggs and angels!

The "holy" spoon was purchased in a Greek street market about 30 years ago when we visited Sonia (our Greek daughter) for Christmas.

Just the spoon for retrieving eggs from boiling water.
