Sgwarnog: In the Field

Footman

I managed to avoid the rain showers in the afternoon, and it still felt fairly warm out. I just did a quick walk down to the woods and back.

This Dingy Footman moth was enjoying the Ragwort - and is one that I don't see very frequently. I also tracked down a Common Hawker dragonfly when it perched high up in a tree after patrolling the meadow (extra). And a good variety of butterflies, if not great quantity: Meadow Brown, Gatekeeper, Small Skipper, Ringlet, Comma, Peacock, Small White & Green-veined White.
