Make Every Day Memorable

River Otter

It's been hot today and the warmth continued into the evening.
Making the most of the weather, we decided to pay the beaver family a visit.
On past visits the adult female has been seen swimming downstream from about 5.30pm. Arriving an hour later I think we must have missed her.
We sat quietly on the bank where we had a good view up and downstream but sadly she didn't show up.
Most of the bank is overgrown and there are only a few places where you can see into the river . One such place is opposite the lodge and by the time we returned there, a small group of people were in situ
It wasn't ideal for photography with very low light levels but, for blip purposes I took a couple of shots. The main shows a very young adult probably 1 or 2 years old while a very young kit is over in extras.
