Blaylock Dragonfly

We have been to Harrogate today to visit my sister and to go to choose a new sculpture for the garden from local sculptor Steve Blaylock. I chose an owl that is to be made to my specifications and also bought the dragonfly pictured. The great thing about Steve's sculptures is that they are easily repositioned to fit in with the planting as it changes with the seasons. I also like the way that the metal complements the plants and adds interest to the garden.
The weather was better than expected for most of the day but has become very blustery with heavy showers so it seems we are in for an unsettled period for the next few days.
