Garden

The only picture I took this morning early on before the rain came. Every few weeks I take a few pictures in the garden to record the progress. Today was the turn of this bed.
Then I settled down for a morning of cycling in Tokyo. And what a fabulous morning it was with Matt Walls totally bossing the Men’s Omnium in all four races. He won by a mile! Unexpected but very welcome. Jack Carlin is looking good for tomorrow’s sprint, but Jason Kenny’s 9 year reign ended…..well, he is getting on a bit now!
Katy Marchant was taken out of the Kieron when the Dutch rider crashed into her. But at least she gets to try again tomorrow in the Sprints.
Two other medals today, both bronze, for Holly Bradshaw in the pole vault and Liam Heath in the canoe sprint.
