Meall a' Mhuic

We went up to Glen Lyon to go up a couple of Marilyns before going on to meet friends at Kilvrecht campsite; it was warm, but not humid and very clear. The first hill we went up was Meall a' Mhuic and the blip was the cairn at the top with the Tarmachan Ridge in the background. The top is at 745 metres and there is a conifer growing in the foreground in front of the cairn. It shows just how high the treeline would be if there weren’t sheep and deer in their current abundance. As soon as the sun went down the midges came out and the people went in.

Best on black.
