Back at Work

Today we had to go to Penrith (1 hours drive) where Mr isbi had an appointment to have a BCC removed.
After 5 weeks in lockdown it was ridiculously exciting to have a valid excuse to venture so far from home, even if it was to Penrith.

We called in at the Blackheath house to attend to the usual bits and pieces and were pleased to see some normality with the work having resumed on the new service station. All construction has been shut down for two weeks to enable Covid safe practices to be refined but it can now recommence within strict guidelines. Workers from the “red zones” in Sydney can’t attend which has affected some of their tradies.
Covid numbers are still on the rise so the general lockdown persists.
