Parasol

This large parasol covered a large area, hence the substantial framework supporting it.  We were grateful for the coverage this evening as we sat in the pub garden, as the parasol was acting as an umbrella to protect us from a heavy rain shower.

The kitchen worktop was templated today;  it proved to be a bit problematic because the walls are all far from straight and smooth (no surprise to me) so the guy was trying to work out how to fit everything, particularly the splashback.  We shall see how it turns out. I shall be preparing a work plan tomorrow to send to the kitchen company to ensure they understand what still needs to be done, in what order and by whom.
