Yes, It's Biff Beaver Again!

Biff is systematically removing branches from his favorite tree and diligently working on the dam.  I barely caught him in time to see him heading for the construction site with another branch.  He's been working on the dam since the beginning of the AOG and since the closing ceremonies are Sunday, he's enlisted the aid of the entire colony in order to complete the dam by then. There were five beavers in the water today. As usual, they try to slip by the judges but they're fairly easy to spot since they have that lovely silver V trailing them.   I don't know how much help Biff is getting with the construction because none of them were ferrying branches.
It has been determined that a panel of seven catfish will be the dam judges since they're the only ones who can spend any length of time underwater without drowning.

Team Hummie showed up today, finally.  They spent quite a bit of time fighting over the feeder.  I think their Speed-Feeding event is tomorrow so perhaps that's why they were so hyper.

The young members of Team Mule Deer competed in the Junior Gamboling event, always a crowd favorite.  Nobody cares who wins.  It's just great fun to watch the little ones in their first Olympic games.

Gloria led team Canada Goose in a spectacular Honking Fly-By following the Aerial 5K.  Sadly, somebody forgot to announce the event so the official photographer was unable to get any decent pictures.  Still, they're in Extra, and even though they're anything but clear, the photo finish from the 5K is clearly visible.

Check Extra for other event photos.
