BCSplash - Old Bloke.

It's #BCSplash showcase time.

As we continue with the BCIntroduce challenge, we have again chosen a photo tagged both #BCIntroduce and #BCSplash this week.

This self portrait by Sheol was absolutely irresistible. We just loved the style, his facial expression and intensity of his eyes.

Sheol has a fantastic journal and we strongly recommend you head over to say hello and check out his work.

His journal is a mix of lovely family photos, incredible macro images and snapshots of his daily life. As well as the high quality of his work, his very clever use of the thumbnail facility when uploading means you will often get a big surprise when you click to see the larger image.

A close up image of a heron's eye turns into the bird in flight, a dog's back legs become a colourfully dressed lady shopping in Bath and a lady sat quietly on a stone seat opens out into the stunning Chapter House at Wells Cathedral.

Very inspiring work!

And here's a further reminder of the #BCIntroduce challenge if you haven't joined in yet...

You will find all the details here and remember it's just for fun!

Would you like to see your photograph on our social media headers?

We're always on the lookout for eye-catching images to be included on our Facebook and Twitter headers as well as here on the community blog.

Pick out a photo that would make an appealing first impression to visitors and add the tag #BCsplash.

The images ideally should work in a banner format but we can crop them or add a border if necessary. If you're not sure but you love your image, tag it anyway.

We'd love to see you taking part, especially our newer blippers, as it is a great way to introduce yourself to everyone. Plus we really enjoy looking through your images every week.

Thank you for helping us showcase Blipfoto alongside your photos.
