Stratford upon Avon

Back in May I mentioned that the RSC were building an outdoor theatre on their gardens by the Swan Theatre.  Well it was completed a little while ago and this afternoon we went to a performance of Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.  They have done a very good job on the construction, and put on an excellent production.

I like Comedy of Errors, it's one of Shakespeare's more understandable plays, and it's very funny!

The forecast for today had been for showers.  They arrived before the interval, the extra shows some stage drying during the break.  Neither the audience or the actors have a roof, so we all get wet together.  Luckily we brought our raincoats with us.
