Blooming

It was wet through night and the weather was definitely a feature of the journey east today but I did get Bailey walked and the car packed in the dry. The first cloud burst came as we drove past the rear view of the Ashton Memorial and we had rain on and off until we got to the M18. We were also at a standstill twice on different motorways and it was definitely a slower than usual journey. Bailey was a bit grumpy in places but he was pleased to get home and out into the garden. We had a quick walk and then I went to do a supermarket trip before a late lunch. Some sorting of stuff and a wander in the garden. There's a few jobs to be done out there this week but the new dahlias are blooming (not that the camera is quite doing the colour justice.)
