All Lit Up

Up in the big city tonight for a bit of Culture - the antidote to a week of play dough and Minecraft.

The show was in a plastic dome in the University’s Old Quad. It looked quite impressive, but got colder and colder as the evening wore on. The rain drumming on the roof added wild rhythms, and when the seagulls overhead joined in with their mewing it added a nice touch of atmosphere to the music of the clarsach. All very Celtic twilight

At the Festival Theatre the offering was a bit jollier - ‘Falstaff’. I should think it was a lot warmer in there too.
