Sunshine Beach

We’re expecting that lockdown will be lifted today at 4pm … and thankfully the announcement came around 10am that it will be, yay!

If it wasn’t for the Olympics, I would have found this lockdown very hard!

Martin and I did go out for a beach walk once lockdown was lifted. It was cold out there, blustery winds.

Back home and we were able to catch up with some friends from HK on video chat, nice to see familiar faces again.

The Olympic closing ceremony was wonderful to watch. Tokyo did an amazing job in successfully hosting such a major event during a global pandemic. Good on them …
