Beauly Firth Barges

Looking roughly west from South Kessock a couple of barges which have been anchored in the Beauly Firth near Clachnaharry for quite some time. There was a suggestion that they could be connected with this dredger photographed in Inverness harbour by PeninsulaLight. A cold dull day and I decided to give my usual walk along the sea-wall a miss. The mountains are actually away in the distance but the longish lens has fore-shortened the perspective so they look a little more dramatic in the shot than in real life.
