Bees love Himalayan Balsam

Unfortunately there is a large population of Himalayan balsam down by the Duntreath ponds. It is very pretty and the bees love it, but it's very invasive and competes vigorously with native plants. There was also a patch of very unlovely Japanese knotweed. The geese have disappeared and the three remaining cygnets are growing fast, see the extra.
