A lot of Fireweed.

After a deluge all day the sun came out so I had a quick walk around the village. Local people call the path at the bottom the ash track. The ash from the school heating boilers used to be spread out there. Under the wide grass strip is a giant water pipe taking water from Loch Katrine to the reservoirs at Milngavie. The Pipe Track is a very popular walk along the line of the pipe up towards Killearn and has featured in a lot of my blips. I don't know who owns the waste land with all the rose bay willow herb but I'm glad I don't live downwind of it.
