Another Geordie Saying

Following on from a previous Blip I noticed another well known Geordie saying when I was in Newcastle. In the Geordie Dictionary Why Aye (often spelt Wey Aye) has the following definition:

An emphatic exclamation of reply meaning “Well Yes, of course!” occasionally coupled with the word ‘man’ as in the perceived archetypal Geordie phrase “Wey-Aye Man” that is most often overused by novice Geordie imitators.

The word 'man' is added to the end of lots of Geordie phrases.  I've no idea why but I use it constantly.
