Cut Roses

Our Gertrude Jekyl Rose is coming back, after we pruned it again - it had a lot of black spot.

So there are new leaves, and flowers.

The leaf cutter bee was testing the leaves, and the newer ones are perfect. So that’s the focus of its efforts today. In this image the rose flower seems to be staring at the bee. Is this plant outrage ?

I am amazed this image has worked. I was mowing the lawn, and noticed the bee. But it was very windy, and the bee cuts the leaf section with extraordinary speed, so I wasn’t expecting anything half decent.
