New customer at the feeding station

Having decided to try a different way of presenting the fruit for the birds I was very surprised to see a greenfinch amongst the early visitors.  These are the boys and girls who are the reason for me abandoning feeding bird seed.  Far too much of the seed ended up being strewn all over the show resulting in all kinds of random sproutings in the lawn and garden.   Maybe he's feeling a bit left out?  Anyway, there seems to be plenty to go around so he's welcome to stay and add a bit of variety to the scene.
