Home

All too soon it’s time for home……

Up and cleaned the house and bagged the towels and sheets.  The owners had asked that towels and sheets were bagged due to Covid.  We always give any place we stay a thorough clean and left how we find it.

So sad to be leaving here, I love being by the sea and the views here are just wonderful.  We’ve had another fabulous week here with the boys so much fun and laughs.  Plenty walks and this is area is rich with natural beauty.

Came back through Glencoe this time and couldn’t believe how busy going north the road was.  No hold ups apart from a fud driver going at 40 from St Fillians to outside Comrie when he eventually pulled in to a lay-by to let us past.  He was an old duffer with a flat cap hanging on to the wheel for dear life!  Jeez they are the ones that cause accidents.

Home to a fridge that is burst.  Freezer is ok but had to throw out cheese and other stuff .

I was so tired bedded by 930.  I’ve lost 2lbs this week and another half stone to go.

This is our first holiday without darling Breagha.  I missed her being with us.  She came on every holiday unless abroad as she was part of our lives and it was made all the more special when she was there with us with her wee ways and antics.  The last one was at Mallachie, Boat of Garten and have many great memories of her enjoying the lochs, the woods and the back of the house with all the fresh sniffs.  Still feel her loss so much.
