Grape and Grain

This is directly across from our apartment.

It used to be our favorite place to go. When we were first dating, we would go here almost every night. We would sit at the bar, order a plate of 5 cheeses, and a bottle of rose Champagne. We got to know the staff, we got extra "top offs" and learned all about one another.

After we realized the markup on the bottle of rosé, we decided it was more economical to buy it on our own....so we haven't been here in awhile.

But i still look at it every day when I leave whats now "our apartment." I'll always have a special place in my heart for it. I credit the romantic ambience for the perfect place to get to know someone. The perfect place to share some cheese and start what could be a very good thing.
