Griggs Cup - Bowls

Bowling again!  This time in the pairs competition for the Griggs Cup and prize money!  We entered with the view that we'd have an enjoyable day bowling rather than any eye to the prize with a modest target of 'getting on the card' ie scoring some points.  It was my first experience of  Australian Pairs rules where both players swap between playing lead and skip.  In the first end the lead plays two bowls then the skip four bowls, then the lead another two bowls.  And on the next end the order is reversed.  We were happy with our two wins from five games.  A good day's bowling and perfect weather (not too hot and no rain or wind)!
