Fabulous ...

... Sunday.

We packed a lot of stuff into our waking hours today!

Starting first by attending the 4-H Horse Show.  Richard works with T who has two children involved in the 4-H programs.  She let us know that the horse show was being put on today after being canceled last year. We always enjoy watching not only her two but all the other riders and horses, too.  The two pictures I've included in my collage are of T's two children ... P & P.  I've intentionally cropped out their faces for privacy purposes.  The horse is called Maverick.

Since the horse show didn't involve much walking we drove over to Graver Arboretum for a picnic lunch and a walk.  The bottom right photo shows a tiny wood frog that we came across.  I had Richard place his finger near it to show it's teeny tiny size!

When we returned home there was an Eastern black swallowtail waiting to be released from the butterfly enclosure.  She had emerged whilst we were gone.

After all that the pool was beckoning me.  As was the beautiful juvenile male ruby-throated hummingbird!

Backblipped: August 16, 2021 ... sigh.
