Lunch #2

We had Susan over for lunch this afternoon. She is a teacher and is almost at the end of her summer break, so it was great to catch up after months. Sadly, she lost a few weeks of her holiday in quarantine at home, recovering from COVID.

G & I went out in the morning to buy some of the ingredients for lunch (bread, ham), and we had a simple but delicious meal. We didn't do much for the rest of the day apart from chilling and watching Mary Poppins Returns on one of the free movie channels. It was good to have some light-hearted entertainment with all the bad news that is currently on TV.
