Throw away the crutches

We had to visit the Golden Jubilee hospital in Glasgow this morning and I took particular pleasure in returning my three sets of crutches borrowed following two knee and one hip replacement.

For the past eighteen months they have languished at the back of the wardrobe but now with Covid restrictions removed I was able to return them.

And tomorrow I re-start my yoga class.
I have a lot to thank the NHS for- without the miracle of modern medicine I would probably  be in a wheelchair.
