Lochnagar

After yesterday’s cairn here is today’s cairn on the lower slope of Geallaig Hill. It is a Graham west of Morven but south and east of yesterday’s hill, Brown Cow Hill. Amazingly we seemed to be in the best place for weather as all around the hills were covered in cloud and rain. We weren’t in the cloud but there was a light shower on the way up. On the way down we stopped at a cairn to look at the view of Lochnagar. Balmoral Castle is just visible to the left of the cairn; a lot of people seemed to want to visit the place this afternoon.
