Willowherb explosion

I've never seen it happen but the results are hard to miss when the great swathes of willow herb release their seeds to the wind for them to fall where they will.

A trip to the tip this morning to get rid of two bags of garden waste and quite a number of large, empty shoe boxes which I had kept 'just in case' ..... but today was the day when I finally decided that I would never need them. When I was teaching empty boxes were so usuful for storing 'stuff' but I have now reached the stage in life when I'm trying to declutter.
