Old Railroad Ties...

...from Jones Island that have been torn up, piled alongside a gravel road, and over time have become surrounded by flowers. I noticed the pile the last time we were here so I came back today to take a few photos. 
The painter came this morning to pressure wash the garage & she put some bondo on a few areas of the garage door that needed filling in. She'll be back next Tuesday to start the painting & once that's done we'll start re-organizing the inside of it. Made a start today as Tom sold three of his larger pieces of woodworking equipment & the guy came and picked them up late morning.  I asked Tom if it was hard to see them go, but he said it's okay as he can't use them anymore & he'd rather see someone else using them than to have them sit there gathering dust.  :)
