Rock Island Grade

Rock Island Grade is a bit of a desolate hike. I like it as a training hike because I gain serious elevation -- more than 1,000' -- and the road is pretty decent with little traffic. I bring my camera and think, "What can I shoot?" It's a landscape that feels desolate with rock and grasses. Here's my efforts today.
