Water Protection Area

Some places in the world burning down due to a lack of water, while we are literally swimming in it. This area on our evening walk is close to the parish water well supply, and so there are some restrictions on what farmers can and can't do. For me, there are far too many things they can do, and one of them is plastering much of the area with maize/corn, none of which is for human consumption but for Biogas and unhealthy cow silage. Maize, with all the pesticides & herbicides that go with it, as well as its reliance on large amounts of mainly chemical fertilisers. It does absolutely nothing positive for the soil or the worms, bugs and bees.
