Thankfully, it's just grass, probably because all the hosta leaves and stems have been gobbled already.

This day came in dark and stormy, lots of rain with a tiny glimpse of the sun. Time to dust of the hurricane plans according to a weather guy I believe in. We are in the cone of uncertainty with Tropical Storm Henri on the move. We have not had a direct hit for 30 years, that was Hurricane Bob. That storm and tree falling on the house, directly on a door I had exited seconds before to move a car, nearly killed me.
